WMYC requires parent volunteers to ensure our rehearsal camps and tour run smoothly.
Chaperones get a behind the scenes look at the hard work and dedication that this group puts in to become ready for the stage!
What to expect as a parent chaperone:
- Please arrive at the same time as the singers for your respective chaperone duties
- You will stay in a camp bed in the chaperone portion of the student cabins. Please bring:
sleeping bag/bedding, pillow, toiletries, warm clothes
- There is a lot of downtime while students are rehearsing. Please bring a comfortable chair, a book/hobby activity, any snacks you may want (there is access to a fridge for chaperones & board members)
- Duties include: ensuring safety & wellbeing of students during rehearsals, meal times, free time & overnight
